Manny Laughs Off “Easy Fight” Comments
With a rematch with Floyd Mayweather on the horizon, Manny Pacquiao is excited to ensure that its not an “easy fight” for Mayweather.
“Easy fight, huh?” Pacquiao said early Tuesday morning following a long night of chess with friends at his rented mansion.
“Let’s see if he doesn’t end up occupying all corners of the ring.”
Whether or not he and Mayweather face off in December or in 2019, he is looking to return to the United States for his next fight, no matter his tax issues.
“Even if it’s not Floyd, it’s the US, It’s been a while I’ve gone there,” Pacquiao said about his two years away from the states following his win over Jessie Vargas.
“(Mayweather)’s a braggart. He said it’s an easy fight,” said Pacquiao, who ran into Mayweather at a music festival in Tokyo, who claimed it was an “easy fight” and an “easy payday.”
“It was nice because we challenged each other and there was taunting.”
