Manny Pacquiao Firm Favorite Against Yordenis Ugás In Title Fight
Boxing veteran Manny Pacquiao will take on Yordenis Ugás in a welterweight title fight this Saturday where he is expected to grab a victory, experts at Ring Magazine say.
Nineteen of the 20 boxing analysts at Ring Magazine believe that the Filipino icon will not have much trouble winning against Ugás. The only analyst who claims that the Pacman will lose to Ugás via unanimous decision is Norm Frauenheim, a columnist at the Arizona Republic.
On the other hand, welterweight contender Mikael Zewski and former title-holder Duke McKenzie feel that Pacquiao will win via stoppage.
According to his coach Freddie Roach, the Pacman seems to be in the form of his life. Roach feels that Pacquiao has not let his age affect him a bit. He still undergoes the same training regime he used to go as when he was young.
Nonetheless, the boxer noted he won’t be taking Ugás lightly. Ugás is one of the most seasoned boxers in the industry. The Cuban star has said he will bring his A-game on Saturday to make sure he can end the hype for the Pacquiao-Spence fight.
