Manny Pacquiao Has Lined Up A New Business Venture

Eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao has signed a deal to license his name to a new Team Boxing League franchise called the San Diego TJ’s, laying the groundwork for more business opportunities after he retires from the sport.

Pacquiao, through MP Promotions, has taken an ownership role in the franchise. Additionally, the deal includes an equity stake in the TBL parent company, positioning him as a major decision-maker in the league’s global expansion. The franchise name—San Diego TJ’s—is a nod to the boxing culture between San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico. The TBL utilizes a unique team-based scoring system, where squads of fighters across various weight classes compete for points in a “league table” format.

“This is not just about fighting anymore. This is a new chapter in my life. I have accomplished everything I wanted in boxing, and now I want to build something bigger than myself.
