This has raised much controversy following Benn’s two failed drug tests for Clomiphene and his failure to address this with the British Boxing Board of Control, in spite of the fact that he was reinstated by the WBC.
But much more than that, there were talks that Pacquiao could be facing Benn at one point. With that being said, Gibbons responded by sharing a promotional poster of the bout, which featured Pacquiao above it.

The bill could still feature Pacquiao after he had allegedly contacted Benn’s team for a potential fight.
As per reports, Pacquiao has resumed training, despite having titles in eight different weight classes and being 44.
Regardless of what happens, the social media sentiment was clear that a Pacquiao fight with Benn, or the latter facing any other opponent, was not being well received.
