Masvidal-Diaz Top UFC 244 Reebok Pay

Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz’s tenure helped fill their pockets on Saturday night, as they both walked out of UFC 244 with an extra $20,000 apiece.

Masvidal and Diaz headlined the ESPN+ broadcasted card and due to the UFC’s partnership with Reebok, the two fighters earned the most they could from the UFC Promotional Compliance policy that has been in place since the two companies signed a deal in 2015.

Diaz and Masvidal join former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski in the $20,000 club due to their fighting over 20 times for Zuffa owned promotions (UFC, WEC, Strikeforce), and was not designated a title fight, which would have granted them $40,000 apiece in their BMF title battle.
