Matchroom Boxing Launches ‘Unscripted’ Series

In a press release, it was announced that Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing will be starting a new YouTube series called ‘Unscripted. The first episode is already released and can be seen through all forms of social media.

The opening title of the show describes the word “unscripted” as, “Not scripted; lacking a script. Informal. That has not been planned for or anticipated.”

Hearn is the designated host and the show will explore a variety of topics from the world, including boxing. Episode one talks about the heavyweight division, focusing on Anthony Joshua’s win over Andy Ruiz Jr. in their rematch in Saudi Arabia. Also discussed: KSI v. Logan Paul II and the emergence of YouTubers boxing and trends in the comedy world.

“We are constantly striving for new ways to evolve our content output across our social media channels and I’m excited to launch the brand new ‘Unscripted’ series for fans to enjoy,” said Hearn. “In episode one we talked a lot of boxing, the pros and cons of YouTube fights and a bit of comedy and grime! Make sure you give it a watch on the Matchroom Boxing YouTube channel.”

Joining Hearn will be musical artist Wiley, actor Tom Davis, YouTuber Joe Weller and cruiserweight boxing contender Lawrence Okolie. The platform will provide Matchroom another opportunity to connect with a younger audience.
