Matt Brown To Fight In Front Of Home Crowd At UFC Fight Night 205

The UFC is making a return to another location.

This weekend, UFC Fight Night 205 will be held in Columbus, Ohio for the first time in 13 years. The event will feature a heavyweight matchup between Curtis Blaydes and Chris Daukaus. The co-main event will be a flyweight bout between Joanne Wood and Alexa Grasso.

On the undercard, welterweight and native Matt Brown will be taking part of the action.

Brown will face Bryan Barberena in a welterweight matchup right before the co-main event. Brown said he’s focused on his opponent, but fighting in front of a home crowd is also on his mind.

“It is one of those things I will think about on Sunday,” Brown said.

“I will think that was cool, but right now it is just a cage with a guy standing across from me trying to knock my head off.”
