Matt Brown To Retire After Fight Night Norfolk
After a twelve year career in Mixed Martial Arts, nine of which in the UFC, Matt Brown will officially retire after his fight with Diego Sanchez at UFC Fight Night: Norfolk.
Brown announced this decision on his instagram page late Thursday afternoon.
Brown began his UFC career as a cast member of The Ultimate Fighter Season 7: Jackson vs. Griffin. Brown would make it to the quarterfinals when he lost to Amir Sadollah. He would be on the UFC roster from 2008 on, and after a recent three fight losing streak capped by a knockout loss to Donald Cerrone UFC 206, Brown has decided to call it a career.
