Max Holloway vs Yair Rodriguez postponed after the Holloway sustains injury

The UFC has put off the highly-anticipated Max Holloway vs Yair Rodriguez fight after Holloway pulled out due to an undisclosed injury. The featherweights were scheduled to fight on July 17.

Both, Holloway (22-6) and Rodriguez (13-2, 1 NC) had the fans excited who were expecting a bloody night with the top 3 featherweight stars in the ring. The winner of this showdown is likely to take on the winner of the upcoming title fight between Champ Alexander Volkanovski and Brian Ortega.

Holloway returned to his absolute best against Calvin Kattar in January following a pair of disputed decision defeats to Volkanovski.
