For those fans in the United Kingdom who can’t afford $1,700 seats to see Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor face off on August 26th, there is now an option for you to watch it on Pay Per View.
Sky Sports has secured the UK and Ireland broadcasting rights for Floyd Mayweather’s polarizing boxing bout against UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor.
Sky announced the deal on Monday afternoon through a press release.
According to the release, the Sky Sports Box Office pay-per-view will be available to UK fans for £19.95 ($26.31 in U.S.), and to Irish fans for €24.95 ($29.47 in U.S.).
The cost of the PPV for UK and Irish fans represents a considerable drop from the U.S. price point, which stands at $89.95 for the standard definition broadcast and $99.95 for high definition.
The press release also states that Sky viewers will enjoy “a range of support programming” ahead of the highly anticipated boxing bout.
