McGregor Delivers Medical Supplies To Ireland Hospital
In his quest to do whatever he can to help his community, Conor McGregor continues to go above and beyond during a time of uncertainty.
McGregor recently purchased over $1 million worth of personal protective equipment to all hospitals within the Leinster region of Ireland. Several trucks were already sent to areas all over, teaming up with small businesses to help with the cause.
“St. James, Mater, Tallaght, Beaumont, Vincent’s. Where we would be without these brave men and women, I do not know” McGregor stated. “May God bless over them and keep them safe!”
This week, McGregor made sure to make it all count. In a post on Instagram, McGregor is shown hand-delivering equipment to Our Lady Children’s Hospital at Crumlin in Dublin. It is one of the top pediatric hospitals in the country.
Before his return at UFC 246 against Donald Cerrone, McGregor donated over £25,000 to Dublin’s Inner City Helping Homeless, a charity that takes care of the homeless in Dublin. It also provides a service for disadvantaged children. He is continuing his mission of helping out those in need.
McGregor has been extremely vocal about doing the most during the coronavirus pandemic. He has urged politicians to do their part while also offering up options in order to make people abide by social distancing rules. The former UFC Lightweight and Featherweight Champion has talked with the politicians in the area as well as high government officials.
