McGregor Looking Jacked Heading Into UFC 246
Conor McGregor has rarely tread above 155-pounds in his career, but on January 18th, the Notorious fighter returns to the Octagon at Welterweight.
Fighting at 170-Pounds has been a high risk and high reward endeavor for McGregor, who has gone 1-1 at 170 in his battles against Nate Diaz prior to winning belts at both featherweight and lightweight.
Now, McGregor fights against fellow lightweight Donald Cerrone in the main event of UFC 246, as both men eye their chance at a lightweight title shot. Why? Well, it seems to be due to McGregor being in otherworldy shape.
McGregor refused to fight his return at lightweight due to his hatred of weight cutting, but more so, McGregor may be looking at the extra muscle to prepare himself for a long training camp/healthy cut for a rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov if both men win their respective fights in the coming year.
