McGregor Pleads Guilty

In the midst of a potential return, another of Conor McGregor’s legal issues have been resolved with a guilty plea.

McGregor has pleaded guilty for an April assault where the former UFC champion punched an old man in the face for not drinking a glass of his Proper Twelve Whiskey.

McGregor has been ordered to pay a fine of  €1,000for the incident inside a Dublin pub.

Desmond Keogh, the man who ate a punch from McGregor, but suffered no injuries inside the Marble Arch Pub on April 6th.

“What I did was very wrong and I’d like to apologize again to the injured party and today before the court and assure you that nothing of this nature will happen again,” McGregor said.

Per The Journal, the victim accepted McGregor’s apologize, but refused to make a victim impact statement which was accepted by the prosecution.

“Mr. McGregor should not be treated any better but certainly not treated any worse,” McGregor’s legal team said during the proceedings.
