McGregor posts DM request of Dustin Poirier’s wife on social media

As if months of trash talking was not enough before his fight against Dustin Poirier, Conor McGregor has now stirred controversy by posting a screenshot of the message request of Julie Poirier on Twitter. Although, the Notorious did not show what Poirier’s wife had sent him and when.

This has sparked a new debate on social media where MMA fans are guessing what this is about. Unfortunately, neither Dustin nor Julie has responded on the matter yet.

But one thing seems crystal clear. This is not the calm and collected McGregor we saw in the build-up to the January fight against the Diamond. Instead, the Irishman is back to ruthless trash-talking and tactics to inflate his UFC 264 main event hype.

McGregor and Julie were seen publicly meeting for the first time after UFC 257 when her husband had left and defeated the Irishman via second-round TKO.

She thanked McGregor for agreeing to donate over half a million dollars to Dustin Poirier’s donation. However, the agreement went south a few weeks after the fight. Poirier revealed that McGregor’s team stopped responding to the donation’s messages.

The Irishman had then taken to social media to explain that his team decided not to donate the money to Poirier’s charity because they had no actual plan chalked out.
