McGregor Shows Off Robe Made By Versace

As the spectacle known as McGregor and Mayweather nears the two week mark, the UFC Champion took to social media to reveal the robe he will wear to the ring on August 26th in Las Vegas. And much like the pro wrestling style hype utilized in the buildup to this match, Conor McGregor cribbed from WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair showcasing the custom Versace robe earlier today on twitter. And while it lacks the peacock feathers and rhinestones that were Flair’s trademark, the Versace branding is a major gold accents is just the 21st century equivalent. With Floyd Mayweather charging upwards of $3 million dollars to wear a company’s logo on his attire, there is premium real estate for each fighter heading into August 26th. It would seem, per the wording of McGregor’s tweet, the luxurious robe may have been a gift from the Italian designer or possibly the start of something big with the well known fashion brand.
