McGregor Signs Six Fight Deal With UFC

Following a caustic and chaotic press conference on Thursday, Conor McGregor and the UFC would put pen to paper on a new long-term deal.

McGregor signed a new six fight contract with the UFC, with the first being the UFC 229 showdown with lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov on October 6th.

“It’s not hard to do a deal with Conor McGregor because we know what he’s worth,” White told ESPN.

As part of the deal, McGregor’s Proper 12 Whiskey, will act as an official sponsor for every McGregor fight, which McGregor giddily explained during Thursday’s presser.

“On the canvas. On the canvas. Like [Nurmagomedov’s] blood will be on the canvas.”
