McGregor Speaks Out After Injury Forces UFC 303 Withdrawal

Conor McGregor has responded following his injury, which prevented the Michael Chandler from taking place at UFC 303 on June 29.

The news meant that Alex Pereira vs. Jiri Prochazka became the main event as the Brazilian defends his UFC Light Heavyweight Title in a rematch of their UFC 295 clash. Rumors of McGregor pulling out began when the first presser was called off. McGregor blamed it on ‘obstacles.’ McGregor then posted a picture from a doctor’s office, suggesting a possible injury. Ariel Helwani confirmed the UFC was putting out ‘feelers’ for a replacement. Now that the fight has been pulled, McGregor and Chandler have spoken out.
