McGregor vs. Chandler Card Announced

The full UFC 303 card for Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler has been announced.

The card occurs on June 29 during International Fight Week from the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas. McGregor and Chandler have their first fights since losing to Dustin Poirier. McGregor was stopped and broke his leg at UFC 264 in 2021, leaving questions over whether he will be the same fighter. Chandler lost to Poirier at UFC 281 in 2022. He could have taken fights in between. However, he waited for the McGregor fight as inactivity could cost him.

In chief support, ex-UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jamahal Hill faces Khalil Rountree Jr. Hill vacated the title after injuring his achilles. His first fight since returning from injury was a first-round KO loss to the current light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira at UFC 300. The quick turnaround is risky since Rountree is on a five-fight win streak.

Elsewhere, Marya Bueno Silva fights Macy Chiasson in a bantamweight bout. Silva’s last fight was a loss to Raquel Pennington at UFC 297, as she missed out on the vacant UFC Bantamweight Title. Her fight prior was a win over Holly Holm. However, that was changed into a no-contest following a positive test. Chiasson has two wins out of her last four bouts, as she enters the fight with a victory against Pannie Kianzad.

Rest of the Card

Cub Swanson vs. Andre Fili – Featherweight

Joe Pyfer vs. Marc-Andre Barriault – Middleweight

Michelle Waterson-Gomez vs. Gillian Robertson – Strawweight
