McGregor Welcomes Fight With Cowboy
Conor McGregor seems to have made his choice for his return to the Octagon, and it’s Donald Cerrone.
The former two-division UFC champion took to Twitter on Saturday night to congratulate Cerrone on his second round TKO win over Alexander Hernandez at UFC’s debut on ESPN+, the Irish superstar also agreed to face off with Cerrone, after “Cowboy” made it clear that he wants to face McGregor.
For a fight like that Donald, I’ll fight you.

Speaking to reporters after the fight, Cerrone made it clear he’ love to fight McGregor, not just because of the publicity, but also because a fight with McGregor gets him closer to a lightweight title shot.
“I want top five now. I’ll take Conor if he agrees to it,” Cerrone said. “I’m coming for the belt. I’m on a roll. Here I come.”
Cerrone has bounced back from a 1-4 streak with a two-fight win streak capped with the “performance of the night” effort against Hernandez, while McGregor awaits his fate from the Nevada State Athletic Commission following the brawl after his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 in October.
