McGregor’s Black Forge Inn Reports Over $2M Losses Since 2021

Conor McGregor’s pub, The Black Forge Inn, has reportedly made losses in excess of $2 million since it opened in 2021.

According to reports, the MMA fighter invested $2 million when the pub was opened in Dublin, Ireland. However, according to the company Jemi Ventures, which oversees McGregor’s pub, it posted a loss of $600,000 last year. That was in addition to a loss of $1.8 million the year before, as the impact of the pandemic hit the pub. Despite this being the case, the total assets of The Black Forge Inn total $6.1 million as of 2022.

That has resulted in McGregor expanding on his beverage ventures. The MMA fighter purchased the Porterhouse Brewery in Dublin, which is now responsible for making his Forged Irish Stout beer. That has resulted in the ‘Notorious’ expanding his plans for ‘The Black Forge Inn’ with reports that he could open another branch in Dubai and beyond.

“We’re going Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Then it’s going to get exciting, we’re going to Boston, New York, Chicago, and then we’re going to London. And all of these pubs abroad are going to be called The Black Forge Inn,” Liam Flynn (Front of House Manager at The Black Forge)

While the fighter’s career in the octagon has stagnated somewhat, McGregor’s plans outside the sport continue full speed ahead.
