Conor McGregor (22-6) has set his sights on becoming the UFC’s first three-division champion, while also opening the door to a fight with lightweight champion Justin Gaethje (28-5).

The current welterweight champion Islam Makhachev and McGregor have had a rivalry for years that never reached the Octagon, and he has also traded verbal jabs with Gaethje in the past so he does have history with both champions, which would create for an interesting build to either fight.

Conor currently has 2 fights left on his UFC contract – the first one is his July 11 return fight vs Max Holloway, and he revealed the second and final one on his current deal will tale place in April 2027.
