McGregor’s Proper Twelve Whiskey Sells 200K Cases
Conor McGregor the fighter may be on-pause, but Conor McGregor Whiskey Magnate, may be here to stay.
According to a report from the Irish Times, McGregor’s Proper Twelve Whiskey sold 200,000 cases in 2018, after selling out a six-month run in the brand’s first ten days.
This article states that Proper Twelve sold about 200,000 cases (12 750ml bottles) since launch.
That is roughly $35-$40 million worth of product if the wholesale price is $15-$18 per bottle. https://t.co/YStBFV2Zhz

Per Aaron Bronsteter of TSN, McGregor’s new brand would have earned anywhere from $35-40 million if the bottles were priced $15-18 (USD) wholesale. And while it may not have brought down the powerful Jameson (who sold over seven million), it does show a dent in the powerful whiskey brand, who recently had a stake of their parent company purchased by activist investment firm Elliot Investments.
If the UFC is expecting McGregor to return to the Octagon soon without there being major money or major equity, the “Notorious” Irishman may continue his never ending promotional tour for Proper Twelve.
