Merab Dvalishvili has called out UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan as discussions over a third fight continue.
Yan reclaimed the title by defeating Dvalishvili by unanimous decision at UFC 323, leveling their rivalry after the Georgian dominated their first meeting in 2023.
Dvalishvili’s return was delayed by another fractured nose, but the former champion says he has been ready since the spring.
Yan has yet to respond publicly. Dvalishvili has continued to push for the trilogy, with the former champion saying he is ready and waiting for Yan to move forward with the fight.
