Michael B. Jordan Films Scenes For ‘Creed 3’ At Garcia-Fortuna Fight
Michael B. Jordan is preparing for “Creed 3” — by attending the Ryan Garcia-Javier Fortuna fight.
The actor was in Los Angeles to film scenes for the latest “Rocky” installment of the franchise. He got the audience to react to different scenarios for the upcoming film.
Jordan has played Adonis Creed, the son of Apollo, since 2015. The film became a hit and collected many accolades including a Global Globe Award and Critics’ Choice Award.
Former cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew also starred in the film and played the role of “Pretty” Ricky Conlan. Bellew and Jordan’s characters battled towards the end in a climatic world title fight.
During the fight, Bellew’s character floored Jordan’s.
Sylvester Stallone – who plays famous character Rocky Balboa – posted this footage on social media in 2015 and praised Jordan for taking a real life hit – and still getting up.

“Michael B Jordan, ‘Young Creed’ and ‘getting KOd for real!’ “But he got up and did it again! That’s called guts!!”
In an interview on the Graham Norton Show in 2018 – when “Creed II” was released” — Jordan explained he technically wasn’t “knocked out.”
“But I got hit, went down and the camera panned in. The first time we did it, Tony’s glove was in the way so we didn’t see it – so we had to do it again,” he said.
“So we did it the second time, I got hit and I could feel the energy of the studio. I was like, ‘It must have really looked good because everybody is quiet.’
“I was definitely seeing stars, I was not all there, smelling the canvas and everything. It smelled like Pine-Sol.
“But yeah, I took a real punch, it felt like I was in a car accident for like four days afterwards.
“Tony said he only went 40 per cent.”
“Creed III” will be released on November 23, 2022.
