Michael Bisping Proposes Colby Covington And Jorge Masvidal As TUF Coaches

Former UFC welterweight champion Michael Bisping believes that Dana White should sign Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal as coaches for The Ultimate Fighter series.

Every year, White brings in 16 MMA prodigies to the show. The winner is awarded direct entry into the UFC.

In a video on his YouTube channel, Bisping pointed out the rivalry that has been brewing between Masvidal and Covington for a while now.

Both welterweights grew up training together and were roommates for years until the relationship went south.

Bisping said that audience will be keen to watch the series to see how the feud unfolds between both UFC stars when their teams compete on the show.

Masvidal has claimed that the Chaos did not pay one of his coaches that helped him prepare for his interim title fight against Rafael dos Anjos last June.

“He ripped off my coach, that was his coach. We were with him until his title fight. After he won the title, he owed him a certain amount of money, didn’t pay him,” Masvidal said.

“I said if you don’t pay him I’m going to f—k you up. My coach got in between it, it doesn’t have to be like this, let it slide, since then, I ain’t talked to the dude.

The rivalry between both has been visible in almost every press conference when any reporter asks them about each other.
When Masvidal pulled out his upcoming fight against Leon Edwards, Covington took a jibe at his former roommate and offered to take on Edwards.

In a recent interview, Covington claimed that Masvidal tried to hijack one of his fights.

“That tweet came from Jorge trying to get in the way of my money and I take that money very serious,” Covington told MMA Fighting.

“That’s food on the table for my mom, my dad, the life they never had, my family. I come from a very broke background and now he’s trying to mess with my money and my business so now you’re a competitor. Now you’re in my sights. That’s been a long time coming. People think we’ve been friends recently but that friendship ended a long time ago.”
