Michael Page, Leah McCourt Make Strides In Rankings After Victories At Bellator 267

Michael Page was in action this past week against the former Bellator welterweight champion Douglas Lima in the main event of Bellator 267.

The Englishman was able to avenge the only loss of his career that came in the hands of Lima. With this win, Page was not only able to cement his place as a No.1 contender for the welterweight title, but it also helped him moved into the pound-for-pound list in the Bellator MMA Fighter Rankings.

But Page’s win didn’t come without any fuss as Lima forced Page on the ground early in the first round.

The Englishman spent much of two of the three rounds of the bout on the canvas with Lima unable to favor from this situation. But after the fight, two of the three official judges gave a split decision in the favor of Page that was surprising for many fans and experts.
