Michael ‘Venom’ Page Removed From UFC Rankings
Michael ‘Venom’ Page (26-3) is no longer eligible for UFC’s rankings according to an official email sent to panelists who help provide a pecking order of the UFC’s best fighters in each division.
Page joined UFC in 2023 after a 10-year run in Bellator MMA and went 5-1 with the Las Vegas-based promotion, losing only to Ian Machado Garry in 2024. He beat Kevin Holland in his UFC debut in March 2024, as well as Sahrabutdin Magomedov in February 2025, and Jared Cannonier later that year, before his victories over Sam Petterson and Nursolton Ruziboev (37-10) in 2026.
His latest win over Ruziboev on September 5 was lackluster, prompting jeers from the UFC crowd at Accor Arena in Paris, France. The fight was Page’s last on his current UFC deal. He acknowledged after the bout that he can “do better” as he heads into an uncertain period of free agency, should Dana White decline to renew terms with the British middleweight.
Page commented on the situation after his Ruziboev win.
“They [UFC] weren’t happy with me before,” he said. “they’re not gonna be happy with me now … if I put myself in their shoes it’s like, same thing. ‘We can sign him again but are we gonna see much more’?”
