Miesha Tate To Appear On ‘Celebrity Big Brother’

Miesha Tate is appearing on TV again, but it won’t be in the octagon.

Tate, a former UFC women’s bantamweight champion, is expected to appear on the forthcoming season of “Celebrity Big Brother.”

Tate will also appear in the season’s reveal trailer, which will air on February 2 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Episodes are broadcasted on CBS and streamed on Paramount+.

Tate is scheduled to face Lauren Murphy on May 14 at UFC Fight Night.

It will be her first fight in the UFC’s women’s flyweight division after spending her whole octagon career at 135 pounds.

“Cupcake” is not the show’s first MMA combatant. A UFC Hall of Famer, Chuck Liddell, also appeared in 2018.

Tate will join the ensemble, which features Todrick Hall, Teddi Mellencamp, NBA champion Lamar Odom, actor Todd Bridges, Olympic medalist Mirai Nagasu, comedian Chris Kattan and popstar Chris Kirk Patrick.
