One of the most popular women’s MMA fighters is stepping back into the octagon.

Tate headlined UFC 200 in July 2016 against current women’s bantamweight and women’s feather champion Amanda Nunes. She took a break from competition after losing to Raquel Pennington.
Four months later, she took an executive position with ONE Championship in Singapore.
Vieira is on a two-fight losing skid in her last three fights. She started off her career 10-0. She recently lost to Yana Kunitskaya via unanimous decision in February.
She is ranked No. 8 in the world at women’s 135 pounds by ESPN.
In the division, Vieira is ranked seventh and Tate trails right at No. 8.
The October 16 card will also reportedly feature former champion Norma Dumont. A location has yet to be determined.
