Miesha Tate Vs. Lauren Murphy Moved To UFC 276 In July

Fans will have to wait a couple of more months before seeing Miesha Tate back in action.

Tate was originally rumored to debut at flyweight against No. 3 ranked Lauren Murphy in May at UFC 274, but contracts were never signed, and Tate said she may not be ready for the fight. Instead, they will meet in July at UFC 276.

Tate (19-8) is coming off her win on Celebrity Big Brother, a television show. She hasn’t fought since losing to Ketlen Vieira via unanimous decision in November.

The former bantamweight champion previously retired in 2021, but then returned and knocked out Marion Reneau.

Murphy (15-5) had her five-fight winning streak snapped by division champion Valentin Shevchenko at UFC 266.

UFC 276 doesn’t have a main event yet.
