Miesha Tate Wants The Audience To Finalize Her UFC 276 Walkout Song
When you are a professional boxer or any kind of fighter, people always remember how you were inside the ring rather than outside the ring. However, nowadays the walkout songs have also increased in importance.
Many fighting experts believe that a quality walkout song builds the hype of a fight before the bell is rung. This is exactly what Miesha Tate’s (19-8) perception is. The former women’s bantamweight champion will be making her flyweight debut against No.2 ranked Lauren Murphy.
The fight will take place during International Fight Week on July 2 at UFC 276 in Las Vegas. After returning to the sport after five years, the American suffered a defeat against Ketlen Vieira.
The loss was so damning that it caused Tate to drop down to the flyweight division. As she has changed her weight class, the 35-year-old also wants to make changes to her walkout song. However, she wants her audience to be the ones who make the decision.
“Cupcake” went on her social media accounts and promised giveaways to those fans who select the best song for her as she makes her way to the Octagon in a couple of months.
