Mike Perry Accuses Jake Paul Of Bailing Fight

Mike Perry claims that Jake Paul pulled out of an agreement for a boxing match.

Perry posted on Twitter on Tuesday that Paul “changed his mind.” He also posted what looked like to be an official contract.

“I signed a contract to fight [Jake Paul] but he changed his mind,” Perry wrote on Twitter.

Paul’s promotional company, Most Valuable Promotions, has not released a statement or comment on the claim.

The authenticity of Perry’s contract also could not be confirmed. BKFC, Perry’s current promoter, did not respond for comment.

Perry and Paul have some history together.

When Paul was preparing for a boxing match against Ben Askren, he had Perry be his sparring partner for $100 per round.

Paul later released a video where Perry said “You kicked my ass, Jake” and Perry didn’t approve, saying that he was taken advantage of.

Perry most recently conquered Bellator welterweight Michael Page. The win enticed him to call out Paul.

Paul has recently said that he plans to fight in February, which Perry’s contract was allegedly for.
