The former UFC heavyweight champion will make his boxing debut on October 28th, 2023, against the WBC heavyweight champion. And in an attempt to give himself the best chance of winning, Ngannou has hired Mike Tyson, who will be his trainer and cornerman. The latter is a former undisputed heavyweight champion who knows what it takes to make it at the highest level. And as part of that process, Tyson was talking Ngannou through his pad workout.

In the video above, Ngannou can be seen working on a straight jab and a right to the body. The plan appears to be to target Fury’s body in order to slow him down. The video instantly went viral, with many questioning Ngannou’s technique. Caleb Plant, the former IBF super middleweight champion, did not hold back on what he perceived to be a very poor jab.
“That’s as awful as a jab can be,” Plant
And those sentiments over Ngannou’s poor technique were equally expressed by the boxing public.

At this point I thought he’d look much better as well. At least he’d make some $$$

The only safe bet is a Fury KO. Round betting is pointless; it’s whenever Fury decides he’s bored and wants to start singing to his wife
