Mike Tyson, Jake Paul Verbally Agrees To Exhibition Bout

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul have verbally agreed to an exhibition fight, reports say.

Representatives of Tyson, a former heavyweight world champion, and Jake Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer, are reportedly ironing out plans for the two to headline a pay-per-view fight later this year, The Sun reported.

“Mike and Jake are on board for an exhibition bout in Las Vegas,” a source considered to be Tyson’s business associate told The Sun.

“A verbal deal has been struck to get it on, but like all forms of sports business, now it’s all about the contracts and money split.

“Mike is looking for a certain figure to get into the ring with a profit share guarantee.”

The source added that organizers hope the PPV will streamline as much as £36million.

Tyson was previously rumored to fight Jake’s brother, Logan, who famously took on boxing great Floyd Mayweather Jr in an exhibition match. He said the money was too good to resist.

“Yes. Hell, I would fight them. They would fight me. That would make a lot of money,” Tyson previously said.

“Hundred million dollars, they do anything, they don’t mind getting beat up for a hundred million dollars.”

Paul turned 25 years old on Monday while Tyson is 55 years old.
