Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. Gets New Venue
The Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. event has a new venue.
Tyson vs. Jones will take place on November 28. It was originally set to take place inside the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. That plan has changed. During the first press conference for Tyson vs. Jones, it was announced that the event will now be held inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
As of now, fans will not be allowed in attendance. The event will be hosted by Mario Lopez. Jim Gray will handle the pre-fight and post-fight interviews.
Tyson and Jones will be competing for the specially made WBC Frontline Battle Title. There will be three judges utilizing a remote scoring system. The judges will consist of three champions. At first, there weren’t going to be judges but this system has come to fruition due to the WBC.
