Mir-Severn Set For Pro Wrestling Match In April

During the week of WWE’s Wrestlemania, many independent wrestling promotions present secondary events to the thousands of fans who travel across the world for the Connecticut promotion’s biggest event of the year.

Game Changer Wrestling, based out of Southern New Jersey has announced that former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir will make his pro wrestling debut on April 6th against former UFC and NWA champion, Dan Severn for their Bloodsport event on April 4th in Jersey City.

The event done in-part with another former UFC heavyweight champion, Josh Barnett, presents “shoot” style wrestling similar to the style popularized in Japan in the 1980’s and 90’s with promotions such as UWF-I.

Last year, the event was presented in-part with former UFC and current WWE NXT star, Matt Riddle, who would wrestle former Pancrase and current New Japan Pro Wrestling star, Minoru Suzuki. Severn defeated Chris Dickinson in the 2018 edition in New Orleans.
