MMA Fighters Express Their Joy As Lionel Messi and Argentina Win World Cup Final

Argentina won 4-2 in penalty kicks against France.

Just like the rest of the world, the MMA fraternity was also passionately involved in supporting their favorite stars in the final of the FIFA World Cup as Lionel Messi and Argentina edged the French stalwart, Kylian Mbappe to win the FIFA WC in Qatar.

The finale lived up to its hype as it was a battle between two of the best players, Messi and the French superstar, Mbappe.

It was Messi who broke the deadlock and struck first from the penalty spot.

At the end of the first half, it was all Argentina who looked comfortable cruising to the victory. The La Selección led 2-0 at the break but the scenario totally changed as Mbappe stepped up big time in the last quarter of the game.

Mbappe scored from the spot in the 70th minute before delivering a sumptuous second just 96 secs later. And in no time, it was all square.

The game went to the extra minute where Messi again picked his team from the ruins and scored to settle the feud. But Mbappe wasn’t going to let it slip the crown this easily he showed his killer instincts to score just before the final whistle.

The game went to penalties where Argentina kept their nerves and got their name to crave on the trophy.

The fighting community was also kept on their toes during the whole affair. Francis Ngannou, the UFC heavyweight champion, congratulated Messi for winning the last trophy which he desperately wanted.
