MMA superstar Paige VanZant says leaving the UFC and joining the BKFC Was The Best Decision That She Has Ever Made.

Famous Instagram Model and MMA superstar Paige VanZant says leaving the UFC and joining the BKFC was the best decision that she has ever made. Paige was signed to the flyweight division of the UFC. She competed in MMA for 8 years in total, 6 of which she spent in the UFC. During his UFC career, she has won 5 and lost 4 fights.

After the UFC, she decided to compete in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, in the promotion where fighters are fighting without gloves. In her debut, she was defeated, but she fought well, so VanZant has already scheduled her next fight against former UFC fighter Rachael Ostovich. Despite, never achieving any goal in BKFC, she still thinks that leaving UFC and moving to BKFC is the right choice for her career.

As she said to at first, she was very stressed due to leaving such a promotion like UFC.
“I had my whole career built off the UFC. I was in the UFC for like six years. It was very nerve-wracking. There weren’t a lot of people who left the UFC in the prime of their careers. There were a lot of veterans that had left the UFC that was kind of on that tail end, looking for a few more fights,”

But, after leaving the organization, she realized that other promotions are paying the fighters and fighting in the UFC is not the only option for them. VanZant

“For me, I was a free agent at 26 years old. I was really young. It was nerve-wracking to know you’re leaving the powerhouse of combat sports. But now I know it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Since I’ve left, I’ve seen multiple fighters leave the UFC — and it’s not a diss at the UFC necessarily, but I think it’s more an awakening in fighters knowing there’s money out there, and we’re going to be compensated for what we’re doing.”
