Munguia Dominates In Return
Jaime Munguia looked to make a statement in what may be his final title defense at super welterweight, as he dropped Patrick Allotey thrice before a fourth-round finish to retain the belt.

Munguia got off to a slow start, as Allotey moved around and connected throughout the opening round. The champion, however, began to pick up the pace over the next couple of rounds, and he ended up dropping Allotey twice in the third ā including one time right before the end of the round.
A barrage of punches forced a slow taking of the knee by Allotey in the fourth round. While he got back to his feet, the challenger’s corner had seen enough and stopped the fight.

Munguia has teased this possibly being his last fight at 154 pounds, with intentions to move up to middleweight for showdowns with the likes of Canelo Alvarez, Gennadiy Golovkin and Demetrius Andrade.
