Heading into UFC Paris this weekend, Michael Venom Page vowed to reintroduce himself in the last fight on his current UFC contract, in an effort to continue fighting for the leading promotion.
While he earned the unanimous decision victory over Nursulton Ruziboev on the main card on Saturday inside the Accor Arena, many feel this could still very well be the last time he will be seen in the UFC octagon given the low output nature of most of his fights, including the bout this evening. Additionally, some are seeing it as a bad sign that he didn’t get the opportunity for a post-fight interview following the win in Paris.

MVP holds a record of 5-1 in the UFC, which followed a 17-2 run with Bellator, but it’s quite easy to point out a key difference in his performances between promotions: finish rate. Through his time in the UFC, which began in 2024, he hasn’t registered a single finish in five victories. Meanwhile, with Bellator, he maintained a 71% finish rate between ten knockouts and two submissions.
Following the fight, Page had a brief backstage interview, where he was adamant that he will have more output in future outings and is hopeful of re-signing with the UFC.
“The results show that I haven’t done enough. I need to push myself a little more, take a few more risks. I know there’s more.”
