Nasrat Haqparast Undergoes Hand Surgery After UFC 271 Loss
Nasrat Haqparast is hopeful for a power-packed comeback in his next UFC fight after Bobby Green beat him unanimous decision over the weekend at UFC 271.
Days after the showdown, Haqparast revealed on his Instagram account that he had to go undergo a surgery on his left hand which was injured during the fight.
After the fight was over, the German MMA fighter said that he was constantly feeling some issues with his hand in his past four fights. Haqparast still managed to bag two wins in his last four encounters, but the Green fight pushed him to his limits.
“Finally after the last four fights, training camps and years of pain with a broken hand I got surgery from the best hand surgeon in the world. Thank you Dr Shin!” Haqparast wrote in his post.
“I fought my last couple of fights with a half body. I’m ready to come back fresh and new!”
The fighter has had a tough last few months, getting back to the groove after losing her mother just a few weeks before he was set to fight Dan Hooker. He shared the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post.
There was also a photo of him kissing his mother’s hand along with the post. Haqparast wrote: “My best friend in this world.”
