Natasha Jonas Added To Liam Smith Vs. Anthony Fowler Card Scheduled for October 9

Natasha Jonas has been added to the October 9 fight card that headlines all-Liverpool affair between Liam Smith (29-3-1, 16 KOs) and Anthony Fowler (15-1, 12 KOs) at the M&S Bank Arena.

The former Olympian has been out of action since she lost to Katie Taylor in May. The 37-year-old revived her nosediving career when she became an undisputed world lightweight title challenger, but everything went downhill for Jonas when Taylor got the better of her on points over 10 rounds.

The event will be exclusively live on DAZN. While Eddie Hearn has given a green signal to Jonas, an opponent for her hasn’t yet been confirmed.

Other fights on the card will feature WBA female bantamweight champion Shannon Courtenay defend her crown against Jamie Mitchell. Ted Cheeseman will trade haymakers with Troy Williamson in a super-welterweight title showdown, whereas James Metcalf will take on Kieron Conway in a 154-pound contest.

Luke Willis will try to maintain his unbeaten streak against Rylan Charlton at super-lightweight while Solomon Dacres will box Kamil Sokolowski in a heavyweight showdown.

Peter McGrail will make his professional debut after representing Team GB at the Olympics in Tokyo. Blane Hyland and Rhiannon Dixon will be seen in action on October 9 as well.
