Natasha Jonas And Mikaela Mayer Make Welterweight Ahead Of Their IBF Title Clash

Natasha Jonas and Mikaela Mayer weighed in under the welterweight limit ahead of their IBF Welterweight Title clash on Saturday.

Jonas defends her belt from the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, beating Kandi Wyatt to secure it. That made her a two-weight world champion, having previously unified at 154. Victories over Patricia Berghult for the WBC Belt and Marie-Eve Dicaire for the IBF Belt made her a unified champion.

She faces Mayer, who is also on her quest for greatness. She is the former Super Featherweight Champion. Her win over Ewa Brodnicka landed her the WBO Belt. A victory against Maiva Hamadouche got her the IBF and Ring Magazine Belts. Despite losing them to Alycia Baumgardner, she is on a two-fight win streak, hoping to become a two-weight champion.

Jonas and Mayer made the weight comfortably. Jonas weighed 146, her lightest in the weight class. Mayer hit the scales at 146.3. The full results are below.
