Nate Diaz Hits Back At Conor McGregor In Twitter Beef
Diaz and McGregor are 1-1 in the octagon against each other.
Nate Diaz did not hold back on his old foe and former double champion, Conor McGregor after the latter taunted him on Twitter.
On Sunday, McGregor sent a series of tweets to reignite his banter with Diaz. He recalled Diaz’s infamous “slaps” which the fighter is known for pulling off during fights.
In a couple of tweets that he has now deleted, the Irishman proposed the idea of having a slapping competition between the two.
“This power slap championship is growing on me. Who doesn’t like watching good quality clatters hahaha,” McGregor wrote.
“Is it a flip of a coin who gets to go first? How long do they have to recover before they get to throw their counter? Or is it over if they’re ko’d? Fascinating. I’m attending one of these 100%. Is this Dana’s ? Wtf is this madness Dana hahaha. I’m in.”
The former champion also shared an old clip before their fight where both stars could be seen having a go at each other amidst an interview.
“Zroom” hahahahah I wasn’t lying either 😂 https://t.co/CoUTp6r6oJ

McGregor and Diaz are 1-1 apiece. In their first fight, Diaz choked him out, but the Notorious won the rematch. They have been closely linked since the middle of this year, for a trilogy fight.
But Diaz is now no longer under the UFC contract so this makes it very unlikely for them to clash for the third time.
