Nate Diaz Promises McGregor Trilogy – ‘I 100 Percent Guarantee That’

Nate Diaz sees himself fighting Conor McGregor in a third bout.

The two fighters first faced each other at UFC 196 in 2016. Diaz caused a major upset, winning by a submission. The rematch occurred the same year, as McGregor avenged the defeat with a majority decision win at UFC 202. Diaz’s last MMA fight was a UFC 279 win over Tony Ferguson in 2022.

McGregor has not fought since losing to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in 2021. The Irishman will return against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 on June 29. Diaz will box Jorge Masvidal on June 1. It is his second boxing bout since losing to Jake Paul last August.

Masvidal and Diaz have fought once previously at UFC 244 in 2019. Masvidal won after the New York State Athletic Commission stopped the fight due to a cut over Diaz’s eye at the end of the third round. Provided Diaz beats Masvidal, he wants a rematch with a few fighters. He mentioned Paul, Masvidal, Leon Edwards and McGregor.

“I 100 percent guarantee I’m going to fight Conor McGregor again. I 100 percent guarantee that I’m probably going to fight Jake Paul again, this f**king f**ker (Jorge Masvidal) again, and Leon Edwards again. That’s my hit list. The coolest thing right now from the UFC is Leon Edwards. That’s what I got my sights on. I like that fight right now. I think he’s doing great. I think he got better, and he’s doing better. Good attitude, good fighter, I think he’s probably the best thing in the UFC right now,” Diaz said
