Nate Landwehr Vs. Lerone Murphy Added To UFC Card In March
Nate Landwehr has his next fight set.
Landwehr (15-4) will face Murphy (11-0-1) in a featherweight encounter at the UFC’s March 26 event at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, the UFC announced Wednesday.
Landwehr, a former M-1 Global featherweight champion, has gone 2-2 in the UFC since joining in 2020. In October, he won a unanimous decision over Darren Elkins and a third-round submission against Ludovit Klein in the octagon.
Murphy has never lost a fight in his professional career, including four UFC fights. He has three consecutive victories, defeating Makwan Amirkhani, Douglas Silva de Andrade and Ricardo Ramos.
Murphy’s most recent fight came at UFC 267, where he startled Amirkhani with a stunning knee in the second round.
The main event of UFC Columbus will be a fight between former champion Jan Blachowicz and Aleksandar Rakic in the light heavyweight division.
