Nate Robinson Speaks On KO Loss To Jake Paul

Former NBA star Nate Robinson has issued a statement on his knockout loss to Jake Paul.

On November 28, Robinson shared the ring with Paul on a boxing card promoted by Triller. The bout served as the co-headliner for the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. event. Paul’s experience proved to be too much for Robinson to handle. Paul scored a vicious second-round knockout.

Robinson hopped on his Instagram account to speak on the loss in his first pro boxing match.

“Thank you everyone for all of the well wishes, I’m OK. I appreciate Triller for the opportunity as well as everyone that has backed me during the fight. To my coaches, trainers, fans, and teammates, I appreciate all of the time and support you guys put in with me…it wasn’t the outcome that we wanted, but I’m thankful for the opportunity to fight on the biggest stage that there has been.”

Robinson and Paul had beef brewing going into their clash. Paul even made his entrance to the song Basketball by Bow Wow, which was released in 2002 and was a modern version of Kurtis Blow’s 1984 hit. After the fight, Paul gave Robinson credit for agreeing to share the ring with him.
