Netflix Drops Trailer & Release Date For Mike Tyson Documentary

Netflix has released a trailer for its new Mike Tyson documentary, which will drop on October 13.

The four-part docuseries, titled “Tyson,” will chronicle the boxing legend’s life, from his chaotic upbringing in Brooklyn, New York, to reaching global superstardom.

The synopsis reads that the documentary traces Tyson’s meteoric rise as the youngest world heavyweight champion in history, and, with raw honesty, Tyson confronts the choices, pressures, and personal cost behind his legacy. Netflix is calling “Tyson” a powerful portrait of greatness, fall, and redemption.

In conjunction with the trailer, Netflix also announced that Tyson’s one-man show, “Mike Tyson: Return of the Mike,” is set to debut on the platform on November 3.
