New Footage Of UFC 229 Shows Full Attack On Conor

In footage released on Wednesday, it is seen that three men attacked Conor McGregor inside the Octagon following his fourth round submission loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.

Nurmagomedov would incite the incident following his victory by jumping over the Octagon and attacking McGregor’s jiu-jitsu coach and teammate Dillon Danis. Moments after Nurmagomedov would fly onto McGregor’s teammates, three of Khabib’s team would jump McGregor in the cage, one coming straight on, one with a punch to the back of McGregor’s head, and the other coming from McGregor’s blindside.

In the footage shot by Twitter user iPratik, you see UFC fighter Zubaira Tukhugov initiate the attack, before an unnamed man in a red t-shirt climbed over the fence and started hitting McGregor in the back of the head, followed by Nurmagomedov’s cousin Abubakar Nurmagomedov (who is holding Khabib Nurmagomedov’s traditional papakha hat) engage McGregor. Abubakar is then bundled away by McGregor’s head coach John Kavanagh.

Initial Report: Bloody Elbow
