Ngannou has made no secret that he is looking to enter into the sport of boxing, as shown by his recent fight deal with the PFL.
As part of that agreement, Ngannou will make his debut with the organization in 2024, with an option for a boxing fight this year.
While that may have been the case, the interest has died down as those three heavyweights continue to be linked with mega fights against each other in Saudi Arabia.
And yet, Ngannou may end up joining the bill against Chisora as part of the undercard for Joshua-Wilder.
‼️ Eddie Hearn has declared that it's his understanding that the Saudis want to make Francis Ngannou vs Derek Chisora on their planned show in December headlined by Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder. [@MMAFighting] pic.twitter.com/20S4xrI3O7

The fight would make sense for both since Chisora is not getting any younger at the age of 39, leaving the door open for one last payday.
Meanwhile, Ngannou’s desire for a one-off fight would be fulfilled against an opponent who is no longer at the top of the division.
With that being said, this is what Hearn had to say.
“There are rumors for a third fight that night in December, which could be Ngannou against Chisora. I think that’s what they [the Saudis] want,” Hearn
